Jon Gillespie grew up in Henning, Minnesota, population 832, before attending the Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College. At Wheaton, Jon earned his Bachelors of Music Composition and did his graduate work in Studio Recording. He then moved to Fort Wayne, IN, and became a zookeeper for ten years, wrestling Tasmanian Devils and shoveling guano. In 1993, he opened doors at Monastic Chambers Recording Studios in New Haven, IN. Jon aspires to one day be the largest cucumber farmer in the midwest. Oh yeah — he has four cats.
